Woodcreek Waves is about having fun while improving your strokes, getting to meet new friends in your neighborhood and building a love for swimming. It's about creating a community of our younger members who help each other and cheer each other on no matter the ability.
2021 saw our biggest WCW team ever, and we were the only team to 'compete' during the quarantine 2020 season, with an inhouse season to keep the summer momentum going.
And it's not just about the kids having fun. We encourage parents to get involved. Meet many other parents at the under 10 training, volunteer to understand the hard work put into hosting a home meet, socialize during the swim meets and enjoy the final bash at our end of year banquet. Most of all watch your neighbors become overly competitive to win the coveted GOLDEN FIN parent race. It is a sight to behold.
