WEATHER POLICY

We will wait a min. of 20 minutes after thunder &/or lightning before resuming the meet. The meet will be cancelled if teams wait for 60 minutes and conditions are still unfavorable. Due to time restraints (the season is only 4 weeks long), no make up meets will be scheduled.

EVENTS

DUAL MEETS

• 10 & under - 25's of all strokes - 2 individual events plus 2 relays possible
• 11 & older - 50's of all strokes - 2 individual events plus 2 relays possible

CITY MEET

• 10 & under - 25's of all strokes plus 100IM and 50 free - 2 individual events plus 2 relays possible
• 11 & older - 50's of all strokes plus 100IM and 100 free - 2 individual events plus 2 relays possible

DISQUALIFICATION LIST

The coaches will go through each of these with the swimmers during practice. Stroke judges are at each meet and will note any violations to the computer personnel.

BUTTERFLY

• breaststroke kick
• one hand touch
• non simultaneous arms
• alternating kick
• swimming the wrong stroke
• did not finish

BACKSTROKE

• rolling over at the finish
• not on back of wall
• swimming the wrong stroke
• did not finish

BREASTSTROKE

• one hand touch
• two underwater pullouts on start or turn
• butterfly kick or scissor kick
• swimming the wrong stroke
• did not finish

FREESTYLE

• no touch at turn
• jumping off the bottom
• pulling on rope
• swimming the wrong stroke
• did not finish

RELAYS

• swimming the wrong stroke
• early take off
• not enough swimmers for the team
• did not finish
